The boring kind ofbrave.

Most preparedness writing is shouting. Stockpile this. Fear that. Buy the bunker. We're not interested.

Field Atlas is for the rest of us. People who'd rather spend one quiet afternoon getting it sorted, then forget about it until next season. The work isn't dramatic. It's a list, a few orders, a conversation with your family. That's it.

Where the guidance comes from

We don't invent advice. We translate it. FEMA in the US. Ready.gov. GOV.UK. Germany's BBK. The Netherlands' Denk Vooruit. Sweden's MSB. Switzerland's BABS. Japan's Cabinet Office. New Zealand's Civil Defence. They've already done the hard work of figuring out what matters in their country. We put it where you'll read it.

How we pay for it

Some product links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we get a small cut. The price you pay is the same. We don't recommend anything we wouldn't put in our own cupboard, and we mark sponsored links clearly.

Reality check

A note on training

A first-aid kit doesn't replace a first-aid course. A fire extinguisher doesn't replace knowing how to use one. Build the kit. Then book the class.
